Rudolf Dela Cruz
My great friend, Rudolf. He has been my close companion during our engagements together in Three-Five Systems and Omron Mechatronics. He used to hold the title “The Master of Lafarge!”, a cum laude of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. He joined the firm (C.L. Manabat & Co. - Deloitte) in September 2001, stayed until September this year and headed to Bermuda right after.
It seems only like yesterday that he was still here in the office. We were seatmates then at the 4th floor. We shared jokes, exchanged laughters, and shared common grievances as we tumbled one audit season after another. He was a professional, a great colleague.
But he is far away now. He’s simply enjoying life in Bermuda working with some financial companies as an external auditor for Ernst & Young. He’s got a life now, a real one.
