“Parang nangyari na to!!”
Despite the raging sand storm that’s currently wreaking havoc in the city, we still recklessly darted through the hazy trafic, just to hang out and spend a whorthwhile and wacky evening at Starbucks.

And as my intro says, “parang nangyari na to’”.
Spending time in Starbucks really reminds me of alot of things. I don’t know. Maybe it’s just the addiction towards that bittery sweet thing, they call coffee, or maybe it’s just the countless and ungodly hours I’ve spent there with friends back home. Or maybe because there’s just way too much unbearable longing to go home. I really can’t figure out.
Anyway, alot of sharing transpired, corny jokes and a few inspirational thoughts that really impacted me in a whole new way.
I was actually mussing on my plans to leave the country, my friends new found luck in landing a job in New York and a few other plans I’ve been cooking up to make my life a little less miserable.
My roommate Jay, who’s probably the less likeliest to share something with me, came with a few answers for some of the questions that’s been keeping me sleepless the past few months.
“Ok lng nman nasa Qatar ka, sila ba makakapunta dito, atleast tyo pwde tyo pumunta dun(New York), sila di nman bababa para pumunta dito” True enough.
Any experience, is still an experience, a new chapter that you add up to your book of life. And my stint here in this city is a part of my story. I just hope my story never ends here. And I believe it won’t. But I guess only time could tell, where the magical pages of life would take me in the next few years.

sabi ko na sau kakaadik tlga yan eh. kaso nga lang wala ka masyadong paggagamitan dito sa Qatar.
